Russian Emergencies Ministry Ready to Help France Following Paris Attacks

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – In a letter to French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov on Saturday expressed his condolences over the deadly terror attacks in Paris and offered aid to France.

Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov on Saturday expressed his condolences over the deadly terror attacks in Paris and offered aid to France, in a letter to French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve.

"We share your grief and sorrow together with the families of the killed and wounded. I want to assure you that the Russian Emergencies Ministry supports you in this hard times and is ready to provide all the necessary aid and support to the injured and victims of these outrageous terror attacks," Puchkov said, according to Sputnik News.

Meanwhile, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Saturday that the deadly terror attacks in Paris require joint international efforts and added that there is no excuse for terrorism.

"We feel the pain of the French people. There is no and can not be any excuse for terrorist crimes. The tragedy in Paris urges us to unite in the struggle against extremism and to give a resolute and decisive battle to terrorists' actions" the statement by the Russian government's press service said.

The Friday attacks in the French capital occurred at seven different locations, including the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de France stadium. They took the lives of over 150 people.
