Hamed Haddadi Joins Esteghlal Basketball Team

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian legendary forward Hamed Haddadi joined the Esteghlal basketball team.

Sports

Haddadi, 40, has most recently played for Palayesh Naft Abadan.

He has previously played at Memphis Grizzlies, Dakota Wizards, Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles, Sichuan Blue Whales, Xinjiang Flying Tigers, Champville SC, and Nanjing Monkey Kings.

Esteghlal is a contender to win the 2025-26 Iran Basketball Super League (IBSL), leading the 11-team table.

Shahrdari Gorgan is the defending champion.
